Sat March 21: Honky Tonk Evening Cowboy Party
8-12:30 pm at the Falcon Ridge Ski Chalet
Don’t miss the 4th annual Honky Tonk at the Falcon Ridge Ski Slopes! This cowboy themed party will be hosted by the illuminous Menno Simone and features live country music hits by an all star band:. Ben Hadaller, Sheena Rattai, Mitch Makoons, Joe Madden, and Mungo Jordan. A square dance led by Marcel, line dancing, country karaoke, dance performances by Amy Boo, and more tomfoolery! Get your outfits together folks, there will be prizes.
This event is supported by our friends at Kilter Brewing who will be supplying the “dead sled saloon”. Come hungry, the kitchen will be serving up a gourmet poutine bar.
Sun March 22: The Slush Cup!
12-4 pm
Our annual sendoff to the season at Falcon Ridge: we turn the bottom of the T-bar hill into a giant puddle and riders attempt to make it across. Lots of fun, lots of wipe outs, lots of wet riders.
Kilter brewing will be sponsoring the beer gardens and we will have outdoor live music with Claire Thérèse and Darwin Baker!
We will be offering 15% off all Falcon Ridge merchandise and there will be some special “blowout pricing” on many menu items at the Trails End Restaurant!
A lift ticket is required to ride the slush pit, a good attitude is required to take part in the rest!
